Midlands Seed Ltd was established in 1990, to support and encourage the production and export of arable crops from New Zealand.Since then, the company has grown rapidly to become one of New Zealand's top producers and marketers of vegetable and herbage seeds, dried peas and oilseeds, as well as cereal grains. Midlands Seed Ltd is truly an international marketing company, its products being shipped to over 60 destinations in 34 countries.
Our vision and commitment to developing strategic alliances with both the market and our grower production base, through continued research and development, has contributed to the company's position at the forefront of the New Zealand arable industry.
From its base in Ashburton, the service center for the New Zealand arable industry, Midlands Seed Ltd is well placed to be a leading international specialist, developer, producer, adviser and exporter of arable products.
Midlands Staff are highly respected in the Agricultural Industry and they are well supported by the four Shareholder/Directors who are fully active in the day to day affairs of the business.
