Quality Assurance
The quest for quality and a competitive edge for both Grower Suppliers and International Buyers is always ongoing to ensure that Midlands products are of the desired international standard, with a quality assurance programme maintaining control at every point along the process. All testing procedures meet the minimum standard of ISTA and SGS, in addition to those required by the buyer. As an outward indication of quality, Midlands Seed Ltd’s own products are packed in distinctive, coloured packs complete with registered trademark.
Communication:
Regular contact with both International Buyers and Local Producers is maintained utilizing all forms of modern communication. Midlands staff also spend a large amount of time meeting with clients in their own situations so that we can have a better understanding of their specific needs.
Opportunities:
New opportunities for specialist crops are continually being targeted, with Organic production one of the areas of recent expansion. The company is Organically Certified by Asurequality. Asurequality certification is recognised by the International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements (IFOAM) meaning our Organic products are recognised as certified Organic worldwide.

Local and International Membership:
At the National level Midlands is an active member of the New Zealand Grain and Seed Trade Association (NZGSTA), while at the International level is a participating member of the International Seed Federation (ISF).
